This week Halloween has been celebrated by lots of kids. Although we don't celebrate it as much as in other countries around the world it is becoming more popular in our country also. I just love this snail custome ♥ It looks so great and beautiful and you can make it yourself in such an easy way. And I am sure your kid will love it too...

tough boys

It has been a while since my last post...but we have enjoyed some holiday with our little boy and after that we have launched our brand new shop byAprilandMay. So it has been a bit busy.

But I am back :) As a mother of a boy I really enjoy buying clothes for him. You always hear that it is more difficult to buy clothes for boys as it is for girls. Well I admit you have less choice in items but that doesn't mean boys cannot look as cute and good-looking as girls.

So from now on I will give you my finds for my little boy and hope to inspire all the boy moms that it is so great to buy clothes for boys.

leander cradle

Have been looking for the perfect picture of the Leander cradle...and yes I found it through Paul & Paula.

When I was pregnant of our boy Storm I spotted this great cradle already but decided to go for my old crib that my mother still had kept for years. The sentiment and thinking that when I was just little had slept in that same bed made me want to restyle it for our little baby. It is a rotan crib with a nice white fabric inside on a frame with wooden wheels.

But a couple of weeks ago I again saw this cradle in real and yes I fell in love with it again. And now I am in a bit of doubt...shall I go for my old crib again, which of course is very special because also Storm has been sleeping in it when he was a little baby? Or shall I go for this beautiful cradle which I adore so much too?

I have some time to think it over but am curious what you would do?

baby blankets

Last week I spotted these oh so cute and beautiful blankets for babies and kids. The Klippan blankets are made from only wool, cotton and linen. The collection is inspired by the connection to nature and wild life with straight and simple patterns or traditional with a modern touch.

Love the above animal prints or the simple stripes and stars. Would look really great in a nursery or kids room.

Spaghettiii photography

When our little boy Storm was about 9 months old we did a photoshoot at home shot by the oh so nice Tineke. Tineke is photographer and loves to take pictures of children, families and happy people.

Time flies when looking back at these beautiful pictures. We had so much fun that day. It all was in a very relaxed setting with some great natural moments. I think a new shoot will also be planned when our the little baby has arrived. Would love to see Storm with his little brother or sister captured so beautifully.
