Cubebot

6.12.12

The Dutch Sinterklaas is over and we had a great evening yesterday. One of the presents our boy got was this cool Cubebot.

Robot toys are usually made of plastic and require batteries - but not this one! Inspired by Japanes puzzles, the Cubebot is a non-traditional take on the toy robot. The powerful hardwood frame can hold many poses and his elastic-band muscles and durable wood limbs make him impervious to breakage.

This cool robot is available at Orphan Socks...and ofcourse also a nice Christmas present :)

Gray Label

27.11.12

Gray Label is an Amsterdam based label designed by Emily Gray. It offers a collection for babies and kids aged from zero to six. The collections consists of quality basics, that are contemporary yet timeless, with new designs added continuously. Gray Label only uses the softest organic fabrics to ensure everyday comfort.

Simplicity focusing on colours and designs that would even make grown-ups a bit envious.

The Gray Label collection is too cute and really makes you smile. And Emily also has a great blog with lots of great kids finds.

Mielasiela toy set

15.11.12

Discovered this great new kids toy at Orphan Socks. This natural wooden toy set by Mielasiela is available in a boy or a girl set. The funky little figures fit gently in the hands of your little one.

Just love how these little figures look like and I think every boy or girl would be very happy to play with them. And of course they also would look great in a kids room as decoration.

Thank you Orphan Socks for again something great at your beautiful shop.

This week Halloween has been celebrated by lots of kids. Although we don't celebrate it as much as in other countries around the world it is becoming more popular in our country also. I just love this snail custome ♥ It looks so great and beautiful and you can make it yourself in such an easy way. And I am sure your kid will love it too...

Take a look here for the full instructions how to make it.

creative walls

23.10.12

The walls in your kids room are perfect to be creative with. Masking tape offers so many great and creative possibilities. But re-using old things and playing with simple graphic symbols also gives it a great and personal look.

Let's play and be creative :)
