DUTCH mom blog awards 2014

I am proud to tell you we have been nominated for the Dutch Mom Blog Awards. This year the 100% MAMA event takes place in Rotterdam where for the first time the winners of the Mom Blog Awards will be announced.

We have been nominated in the category Interior & Lifestyle together with &Suus and Zilverblauw.
Ofcourse we are proud to be nominated with our MINI blog.

April and May MINI is our blog focussing on everything kids related. We have more plans for the blog because we really want to give it some more attention. It is sometimes hard to post regularly next to our blog April and May and all the projects we are doing. Especially now with the opening of our store half September. We are working like crazy to get everything done. Ofcourse we have a special part in the store dedicated to kids with lots of beautiful furniture, accessories and more where we want to inspire you.

Can you imagine having a playroom like this for your kids at home? When they play they can make all the mess they want and do whatever they like to do.

I love all the units that can hide the mess and toys when you feel like it. As a mother of two boys it can be a complete mess in the living room when they play and it should be like that. But we also have created solutions to hide all the toys when the kids are sleeping.

I can imagine kids loving this playroom where they can be and do whatever they want.

Just a reminder that you can create the most great kids room with only a few things. When I saw this picture for the first time it really made me smile because of the great effect it creates using only chalkboard paint on the wall to do whatever you want with it.

Love this simple idea but with a great effect!

Ollie & Seb's Hause

This kids room comes from the beautiful blog Ollie & Seb's Hause. It is so bright and with the black details and the pops of color it looks amazing don't you think?

The cushions is this room are from the brand BangBang Copenhagen. This brand is created by two talented Danish designers Louise Lundholm and Mia Risager and they create unique Scandinavian kidswear, which is playful and creative. If you like some playful and colorful details you can use them either in a kids room or living room.

A great kids room to play in and ofcourse these black ballons are great too :)

we were in love. 

It looks difficult but it is not that hard. You can print the template of the Eames

birth announcement card

This is the birth announcement card we made for little Noah. The design is self-made through zelfkaartjes.nl where you can make and choose your own design and details for all sorts of cards.

The cloud tag is from Hello Paper, a great shop with lots of beautiful paper goods. We choose to use these tags for the birth date and weight of Noah. Attached with black and white twine we gave the card something personal.

We love them, the Varpunen Sacks designed by Susanna Vento.
You can use them in your nursery or in the kids rooms for the toys.
All the sacks are handmade and the prints are designed by Susanne Vento herself. They are made from PVC-laminated polyester, practical material, easy to clean and you can use it indoor and outdoor. In all different sizes and beautiful graphic prints.
