Oliver furniture

19.9.14

We fell in love in love with this brand immediately after seeing their products and images. Oliver furniture is an authentic and charming concept of furniture for kids and adults.

Designer Søren Rørbæk grew up by the sea in the North of Denmark. The sea, sand and beaches were always and still are great aspects of his everyday life. His major source of inspiration is the simple summer life. He captures the poetry in nature and appreciates details and functionality.

The new Wood collection is a series of beds from high quality for kids and young people. It has a soft expression with its rounded edges and innovative design. The Nordic oak is a new element in this collection and we love this detail in this collection. All of the products look amazing with so many nice details and features. The loft bed with the small benches underneath is really one of our favorites.

You can experience some of these great beds in our new store First or Second in the Netherlands. Kids will love them and so will you.

"There is nothing like the sound of a laughing child"... a quote from the new catalogue by Ferm Living. The new kids collection really rocks and we think Ferm Living has brought the kids collection for this Autumn Winter 2014 to a higher level with great prints and beautiful photography,

Arrows, tipi's, mountain tops and clouds are some of the themes in this collection and we love it. If you were planning to change your kids room then you will really enjoy this new collection.

We love it!

Yesterday we received the new kids room collection from IKEA. The grey crib is our favorite one and is a great basic piece for every kids room. The style is inspired by the 50's and we love it.

Soon available at IKEA.

A children's room should always be a good spot to play.
But it's nice to see that you can combine a stylish kids room that is also
a comfortable place.

Sara Woodrow from the blog smäm is a designer, artist and illustrator.
On her blog, she writes mostly about things that inspires her.
She also have a lovely shop where you can buy this amazing poster (see picture above)

I am totally in love with this poster.
Wouldn't this be great in any kids room?
I am considering buying them for my two little boys,
it would be so great in their room or anywhere else at home.

LuckyBoySunday

17.8.13

Dreamy coolness and softness...that's how LuckyBoySunday describes their new winter collection. Pure pastel colours with a frosty attitude, a combination of deep blue, greys, nude, rose and mint...the right feeling of this winter, according to LuckyBoySunday. And we couldn't agree more...

How fun is it to add some new things to your kids room and just get a whole new (winter) look.
We love the campaign and here are some or our favorites...

We love the Stokke newborn set

8.7.13

Do you remember my post about Stokke a little while ago? I have been a huge fan of the Tripp Trapp chair, even before I had children of my own. Now with little Noah we are enjoying the newborn set for this beautiful chair.

This newborn set can be easily fixed on the Tripp Trapp chair so your little can join the table too. Our little loves it to be around us when we are eating or doing things around the table.

Another great piece by one of our favorite brands Stokke.

STOKKE love

17.6.13

Most of you know it already...This year I have become a mom of a second little baby boy. I am back at work full-time for two weeks now. As most of the moms around here know it is always a struggle to find the right balance between work and life with kids. Some days it works all fine and other days it is hard.

Trying to make everything as easy as possible we have different little corners around the house where I can put my little boy to sleep, play or just have him with me. When I got my first child I loved the brand Stokke with it's beautiful Tripp Trapp chair and I always knew that would be the chair I wanted at home.

Being pregnant with my second child I discovered some new products of Stokke like the Bounce 'n' Sleep. In the our bedroom we use this great daybed for our little one. Just a little nap at night or when I am busy doing some things. The bouncer fits perfectly in this daybed but mostly I am carrying it around to the studio or elsewhere at home. And Noah loves it as you can see :)
